"Seeing" sound with Ableton & MAINFRAME-B

This simple Ableton setup changed how I think about light and sound. By using the Envelope Follower (Max for Live) to modulate MIDI CC, I was able to connect audio energy directly to lights in real time—no pre-programming, no VJ software.
